“This has been so wonderfully relaxing for our entire family. All of the comforts of home that I spent hours packing (to the point that our SUV could hold no more) we found provided so kindly for our use during our stay. From the wide variety of CD’s, magazines, games, toys, history books, & children’s videos (Barney included) to the fully equipped kitchen—we lacked nothing……even the rain and cloudy skies are beautiful out here, and we enjoyed time reading, playing games, visiting and drawing pictures. I can’t remember a time when my kids have played so well and watched so little television. In fact, the only time my husband and I turned on the TV for ourselves was to watch the Mariner game….Thank you for sharing your corner of paradise with us. We enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to come back.”

“We will forever covet the Moosehead Cabin.
Hightlights: The lake, fishing, walks on the beach finding crabs, whiffle ball in the backyard, late-night card games, group meals under Moose-antler lighting, maize-colored paint, cape-cod chairs, branch cabinet holders, sunning on the deck, books and books and books in front of the roaring fire.
From the décor—striped sheets, NW paint selection, lighting magnificence—to the natural beauty, the Moosehead Cabin will be one of our groups all-time favorite spots.

“A crabbing we did go…at Penrose State Park. License required a trip to Gig Harbor! But it was worth it. Yum Yum!! We were wet to our waists to get those Rock Crabs. We ate them on the deck with shells flying. Friends came to dinner and we played games and barbequed. The girls took out the boat everyday, morning and night….Delightful place and we enjoyed our time here at Moosehead Cabin immensely.”

Paddle boat, fish, hike, paddle boat, fish, hike, bike ride, watch movies, BBQ salmon & oysters, crack crab, play games, hunt for snakes, and enjoy the view! Great fun was had by all!
